What Is Your Remanufacturing Process?

At Best Hybrid Batteries, our remanufacturing process is designed to deliver reliable, high-quality hybrid battery packs while minimizing environmental impact. Rather than discarding entire battery assemblies, we carefully reuse and restore components that are still in excellent condition. This approach benefits both our customers and the environment.

Step 1: Core Battery Collection

When a hybrid battery fails, we collect the original (core) battery. This core is essential to our process because many components are still perfectly serviceable and designed for long-term use.

Step 2: Complete Disassembly & Inspection

Each battery pack is fully disassembled. All components are individually inspected, tested, and evaluated to determine whether they meet strict remanufacturing standards.

Reusable components typically include:

Battery case and covers
Bus bars and wiring
Relays and contactors
Battery control computers and sensors

Any component that does not meet specifications is responsibly recycled.

Step 3: Replacement of Battery Cells

While many components are reusable, all battery cells are replaced. The cells are the most wear-sensitive part of the system, so installing properly matched cells ensures performance, reliability, and longevity comparable to a new battery.

Step 4: Reconditioning & Cleaning

Reusable components are thoroughly cleaned, treated, and reconditioned. Electrical connections are restored to proper conductivity, and protective measures are applied to prevent corrosion and future degradation.

Step 5: Reassembly & Quality Testing

The battery pack is carefully reassembled and subjected to multiple tests, including:

Voltage and balance checks
Load and performance testing
Safety and fault verification

Only batteries that pass all tests are approved for sale.

Step 6: Responsible Recycling

Any components that cannot be reused are sent to certified recycling partners. Valuable metals are recovered and reused in the manufacturing of new batteries, keeping hazardous materials out of landfills.
